I meant to post this ages ago. Remember the part where Gladwell writes about how a couple recorded their daughter talking to herself in her crib at night, and it really changed the theories on language development? That kid grew up to be a babe-economist-Harvard-PhD-Becker-Fellow. So... you know, don't feel bad if your baby isn't that chatty. Unless you're counting on the Ivy League.

I feel slightly better that my 3 year old Paul talks incessantly all day...about cars & trucks, trucks & cars, whathatguydoindad? animals, etc.
